Olivia had owned her vehicle for around a year, having bought it with her dad for off-road adventures, visiting friends and enjoying the freedom that comes with having a car of her own. It was her pride and joy, so when an unexpected encounter with black ice changed everything, she was understandably worried.
While driving through Arthur’s Pass one day, Olivia hit a patch of black ice and lost control, causing significant damage to her vehicle. The impact ripped off a wheel, damaged the suspension and left extensive damage to the front right-hand side, as well as the rear of the vehicle.
With so much damage, Olivia thought her car was almost certainly going to be written off.
Working Behind the Scenes to Find a Solution
Bringing her vehicle to Harewood Panel & Paint, Olivia wasn’t sure what the outcome would be. However, our team got to work behind the scenes, working with the insurance company to make the repairs possible and get the numbers to stack up.
With plenty of work involved, the team was able to find a way forward, and Olivia’s vehicle was given a second chance rather than being written off.
Back Where It Belongs
Today, Olivia has her pride and joy back, ready for more adventures, trips to see friends and all the freedom she bought it for in the first place.
